The engagement shoot was the first time I met the couple, Jhun and Nica. We started at 10 AM til 1 PM. Location was at Plantation Villas at Tuguegarao City.
The couple were great! Very easy to talk to and kid around. Although the midday sun was bearing down on us, still it was a fun-filled experience. Looking forward to the wedding day! :D

Another lighting diagram cheat sheet from one of my shoots. 2 strobes and some of these shots employ reflective surfaces like a white wall and a relfector.
To liven up the festivities of Lal-lo's Town Fiesta, a street dancing competition was organized. Basing on stories I heard, the municipal square gets filled up real quick so at 6:30 AM, me and my cousin went early to get the best vantage points. Sure enough the early bird gets the worm and I was rewarded with an elevated spot directly in front of the street dancers. The street dance started at Roc Shell Station and culminated with a final showdown at the municipal square.
After almost a week of rain and typhoon Gener, the opening parade for the Town of Lal-lo's fiesta has finally pushed through. Albeit still a bit cloudy, we were soon greeted by the early morning sun through the clouds and the assortment of colors all intensified in vibrant hues, it was a feast for the eyes. I'll just let the photos tell the rest of the story.
After a series of fun shoots where I familiarized myself with my gear and setting up, I decided to make a cheat sheet so I won't forget how I got it (as my memory is already in its "fleeting moment" stage). What better way to do it than to blog about it so here it is, my lighting diagrams from my shoots. These are by no means perfect and I am open to comments about them. But nonetheless, I liked the outcome of these shots. Enjoy!
My very first wedding shoot. Yey! Thanks to Michelle Ong for contacting me to cover her cousin, Ulysses' wedding. Decided to apply for a four-day leave to go home to Cagayan where the wedding will be held. Although Uly and I have been school mates during high school, I haven't seen him in such a long time and it would be my first time to meet Rachelle, his bride.
