My very first wedding shoot. Yey! Thanks to Michelle Ong for contacting me to cover her cousin, Ulysses' wedding. Decided to apply for a four-day leave to go home to Cagayan where the wedding will be held. Although Uly and I have been school mates during high school, I haven't seen him in such a long time and it would be my first time to meet Rachelle, his bride. I took the 9:15 PM 12-hour bus trip for Cagayan. I decided to attend the rehearsal in the afternoon and finally met up with the couple. Call me corny but I'm a sucker for sweetness and these two are brimming with it the moment I met them. Although I was only to cover the wedding itself, I had hoped we can also take some pre-nuptial shots after rehearsals. The weather on the other hand had other plans and by 4 PM it was raining like there's no tomorrow. With things still needed to be done before D-Day, we called it a day. I was up by 4:30 AM ready for the Pre-wedding shoot. Shot a couple of photos of the bride and groom's accesories, preparations, make-up and hairstyle and some candids. By 10 AM the wedding was on and the rest is history. To Ulysses and Rachelle: I can't thank you enough for letting me be a part of your special day. Cheers to both of you and God bless you always.
